U.S. border officer sentenced for smuggling cocaine into Atlanta

Officials said the agent boarded his flight from St. Thomas to Atlanta with 16 bricks of cocaine in his carry-on luggage. When his flight landed in Atlanta, a K-9 trained by the same agency he worked for sniffed out the drugs in his bags.

Police said officers saw a car laying drag early Friday morning. When they tried to stop it, it sped off. Moments later, the car crashed into an abandoned gas station and caught on fire. The video picks up there showing the rescue.
