There is a community effort to help a Fayetteville family with the mounting medical bills for their ailing service dog. Caspian is a six-year-old Goldendoodle trained to detect seizures for their 13-year-old autistic son.

A group of local pilots is leaving a message in the skies over metro Atlanta hospitals. They hope their skywriting is a source of hope and encouragement to those on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.  

Foster families need for service dogs

A rescue group that trains service dogs for veterans says it’s in desperate need of foster families.  Coco’s Cupboard says with the pandemic, fewer families are volunteering to foster service dogs in training, while the need for them among veterans and people with medical challenges is greater than ever.
