A group of Buddhist monks marching across America for peace stopped in LaGrange for their largest lunch yet. 

Police are investigating a Christmas Eve burglary at a local trading card shop where a thief took more than $100,000 in merchandise.

A thief stole more than $100,000 worth of rare Pokémon cards and sealed merchandise from Tag Collects on Bankhead Highway in Carrollton. Authorities say the suspect used a tow hitch ball to break into the store. Owners believe the individual specifically targeted high-value items, likely based on previous visits to the shop.

A man wanted in Tennessee on attempted murder charges was taken into custody following a dangerous high-speed pursuit in Gordon County. Deputies say the suspect led law enforcement on a chase that reached speeds of more than 90 miles per hour, weaving into oncoming traffic and putting other drivers at risk. 

Atlanta police responded to reports of shots fired at Atlantic Station around 7:15 p.m. Saturday, only to discover that multiple teens were setting off fireworks throughout the busy shopping and entertainment district. Officers say the fireworks were being launched into crowds, prompting an immediate law enforcement response.
