Judge orders Georgia governor, Atlanta mayor into mediation

A Fulton County Superior Court judge has ordered Gov. Brian Kemp and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms to undergo mediation ahead of a scheduled hearing next week. The order stems from a lawsuit filed by the governor over the city’s measures mandating masks in public and other COVID-19 restrictions.
