Temperatures are expected to stay warm over the week with rain possible over the weekend. Here's your latest forecast update. 

Atlanta temperatures are soaring into the 80s this week, but a cold front is timing its arrival for Easter. While most of the week remains dry with only hit-or-miss showers, expect more widespread rain by Sunday afternoon.

Temps were in the low to mid 60s as of noon on Monday. Afternoon highs should reach mid 70s. More sun expected tomorrow, along with a few more sprinkles. Heavier rain expected later in week. 

We won't break any records today with highs in the low 70s but it's going to be much warmer the rest of the week. 

Slightly cooler on Saturday for metro Atlanta and North Georgia with partly cloudy skies and a high of 69 degrees. Sunday will be much the same. 

Enjoy the breeze while it lasts because a cold front is about to drop temperatures into the 60s this Saturday. While northern counties might see a few raindrops, the heat is already planning a major comeback for next week.
