Eleven new properties have been added to the Georgia Register of Historic Places — including the historic 220 Sunset Avenue in Atlanta, once home to civil rights leaders Dr. Irene Dobbs Jackson and Rev. Maynard Jackson Sr. Our own Chris Rosenthal reports the additions highlight state efforts to preserve Georgia’s rich historic and civil‑rights legacy.
