The Houston Police Department says an officer was injured wounded in an apparent self-inflicted unintentional discharge while training at the HPD Academy.

Dickinson police say it was Sunday night at around 8:30 when three men jumped the back fence of the home located on the 2400 block of Sullivan Lane. They came upon the husband and attacked him, gaining entry into the home. They even hit him in the head with a gun.

Three dead in plane crash near San Antonio airport: Officials

San Antonio Fire Chief Charles Hood says the plane went down around 6:30 p.m. Sunday in a commercial district about a mile west of the airport. Hood says the plane had taken off from Sugar Land, southwest of Houston, and was headed to Boerne when it experienced engine trouble and diverted to San Antonio. Boerne is located about 30 miles north of the city.
