UGA's Fromm tries out for rowing club

ATHENS, Ga. - For a guy who suffered a little boating mishap during the offseason, one would think Jake Fromm would be averse to anything having to do with water.

But gotta have some fun though, right?

FOX 5 Sports obtained video of Fromm a few days ago, during UGA's Rowing Club tryouts.

It looked like he could row across the Atlantic with a stroke like that.

Was it a serious effort at becoming a two-sport star? Or just lending support to fellow athletes?

Should he 'bow' to peer pressure, he'll most certainly receive a 'stern' warning from Coach Kirby.
