Delivery truck hits pole, injuries 2 in Alpharetta

Alpharetta police have not yet said if charges will be filed against a driver who hit a light pole, injuring two people

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - A scary moment for shoppers in Alpharetta earlier Friday.

Emergency officials said a delivery truck hit a light pole that then fell on two people.

It happened at Avalon Boulevard and First Street.

Medics took both people to the hospital but neither of them was seriously injured.

The delivery truck driver cooperated fully with officers.

They said he will not face charges.
