Teen shot in the face in DeKalb County

DECATUR, Ga. - A 16-year-old is recovering from being shot in the face Friday night, according to police.

DeKalb County investigators say the incident happened just after 8:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of Lloyd Road.

It's not clear what led to the shooting, but officials say the teenager had some sort of interaction with a homeowner in the area before being shot.
