The Atlanta Police Department is investigating a shooting on Ruzelle Drive SE that left a young child in critical condition. During a Sunday press conference, investigators confirmed the boy, who is under the age of 10, was inside a home with three other children when gunfire erupted. While police believe the incident was targeted, they stressed the child was an innocent bystander and not the intended target. The victim has undergone surgery and remains in critical condition.
