High speed chase ends with PIT before school zone
Deputies used the PIT maneuver to stop a wrong-way driver who they say was high on heroin and nearing a school zone at over 100 miles per hour. Sheriff Barry Babb says his deputies had a known drug house under surveillance when they say Reese Neelly, 40, of Peachtree City pulled up and allegedly shot up heroin. A high-speed chase with Neelly was approaching Mundy’s Mill High School in Clayton County when deputies performed the PIT maneuver to stop his car while traveling down the wrong side of the road.
