Destroyed recycling center settles with SK Battery for $31M, then blasts the company

A Banks County recycling center destroyed by fire last year has settled its lawsuit against SK Battery for $31 million, but is now blasting the Korean-owned company over its fire-prone scrap lithium-ion batteries. Metro Site accused the EV battery maker of withholding evidence during the lawsuit, and producing excess scrap batteries that caused dozens of internal fires at the sprawling plant off I-85 in Commerce.
