High 5 Sports

Congrats to the Banks County Leopards -- our High 5 Sports Team of the week! 

They are the juggernauts of AAAA Region 5. The undefeated Cartersville Purple Hurricanes hosts the 8-1 Troup County Tigers. Both teams undefeated in the region, but Friday's game will determine if a team will be sitting pretty or gone with the wind.

Week 11 of the Big Show… It’s a cleanup week. The end of the season is here. Some teams progress, some count the days until spring practice. It’s bittersweet. It has been an incredible journey, full of spirit and sport. But everyone please join in the last hurrah!

The 680 The Fan Call of the Week was at South Forsyth as the War Eagles host the West Forsyth Wolverines. Karl Werl, Chris Mooneyham and Doug Konkel called the action as photojournalist Eli Jordan captured it all.
