Will Atlanta finally allow Uber at the airport?

When you fly into Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, you can take a cab or MARTA, call your family and have them pick you up, but you can't take Uber or another ride-sharing service.

Leaders from Uber and Lyft asked for the rules to be changed for the world's busiest airport.

Atlanta city council members listened to a former cabby and current Uber driver make the pitch to open up the airport to the ride-sharing companies.

A company official told local lawmakers that it will not add any significant congestion on airport roads. He explained they have the technology to guard against that.
