VIDEO: Person trapped under MARTA train

BROOKHAVEN, Ga. - A man was rescued Wednesday night after getting stuck under a MARTA train at the Brookhaven rail station. 

It happened on the Gold Line at the Brookhaven/Oglethorpe MARTA Station before 8 p.m. Wednesday. FOX 5 viewer Mac Shiver was at the scene and shot video of rescue workers trying to reach the trapped person.

A spokesperson for MARTA said they are not sure how the person ended up under the train, but they did not make any contact with it. The person was not injured during the incident.

The name of the person has not yet been released.
