Thankful Citizen Leaves Anonymous Note for Oakwood Officers

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Sometimes it's the smallest gestures that make the biggest impressions. 

Wednesday evening, members of the Oakwood Police Department were moved by an anonymous letter left by someone in their community. Several officers stopped by the Marco's Pizza on Winder Highway to eat. One officer returned to his patrol car after eating and found the pleasant surprise on the windshield.

It read:

Oakwood Police shared a picture of the letter on Facebook with a special thank you to the kind citizen.

"We can't tell you how much this means to an Officer when they receive these words of support. We know we have the unparalleled support of this great community that we love to serve," the Facebook post read.
