Shoppers Who Patronize Regional Mall Far From Atlanta Assume It's Safe, But There is Crime

It's not just Atlanta where car windows are getting smashed. A popular outlet mall north of the city has been struck recently by thieves, including some incidents in which guns were used.

Clerks at a jewelry store were forced to the back of a store while thieves raided the cabinets.

In a separate incident,  someone used a sledgehammer to break out the front window of a prestige retailer.

Thieves took an estimated $30,000 in product.
