GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A convicted child molester was determined to avoid arrest last night when he jumped off a roof.
Quan Anthony Thomas, 30, was lucky at first, but he was finally cornered and captured five hours later.
Thomas failed to register as a sex offender so a warrant was out for his arrest. When deputies arrived at his home, he made his way to the roof by way of the attic and then jumped and ran into a wooded area.
He was booked into the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
