Authorities are searching for clues in the killing of a carnival worker in Haralson County.

The body of Martin Prevost, 45, was found in the woods near the Alabama line last month. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation crime lab determined Prevost had been shot several times.

GBI investigators, along with Haralson County deputies, believe Prevost was killed elsewhere, then left off of Highway 78.

Investigators said Prevost's line of work is posing a challenge.  Because he traveled so much, they are unable to track his last movements or his friends, who also work for carnivals.
