Some senior citizens in Powder Springs have proved age is simply a number and it’s not slowing them down one bit! Members of the Bethel Gardens Assisted and Memory Care facility showed off their dancing skills on Wednesday and learned to “Whip and Nae Nae.”

“We have found a new way to exercise and make it fun and exciting for our residents,” said Bethel Gardens Activity Director Jennifer Garmon.

Garmon was the one who taught the fun dance while Resident Coordinator Carrie Collins filmed it.

“This might just have to be a weekly thing,” said Garmon.

Garmon told FOX 5’s Katie Muse they got the idea after watching a video of some senior citizens doing the Whip/Nae Nae in Puerto Rico.

“When I heard this song I thought they were going to be like ‘what is this’ and instead they loved it!” Garmon said.

In the video, the residents dance to all aspects of the Silento son which also include moves such as the "Superman" and the "Stanky Leg."

The video is too cute not to share!
