DeKalb Police are looking for a robbing duo after they critically-wounded a store clerk during an armed robbery Wednesday night.

Two young men, wearing masks and hoods, held up the United Dollar store on Rockbridge Road in Stone Mountain.

Surveillance video provided to FOX 5 reveals the pair entering the store around 8:50 p.m., which is ten minutes before its closing time. They pointed a gun at employees and demanded money from the register. Before leaving the store, one of the robbers shot an employee in the chest.

Store manager Ahmed Montana told FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell that injured co-worker is now on a breathing machine inside an intensive care unit at Grady Memorial Hospital.

"It doesn't make any sense at all. But folks are just sorry out here," Ahmed said about the incident. "But fortunately he is still alive."

The United Dollar store manager is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone who offers information leading to the suspects' arrests.
