Police: Gainesville man charged with sexual exploiting child
HALL COUNTY, Ga. - A Gainesville man is in jail today after police arrested him for the offense of sexual exploitation of a child.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office said that 18-year-old Salvador Godoy-Mojica after he created and shared a video of himself and "a minor female engaging in sexual activity" sometime in either October or November of last year.
Officials arrested Godoy-Mojica over the weekend at a home in the 4400 block of Leaf View Lane.
They say, at the time, he was already on bond for a March 28, 2017 arrest in which he was charged with possessing LSD with the intent to distribute and distributing drugs on school property.
Godoy-Mojica has been booked into the Hall County Jail with a $9,000 bond. An immigration hold has also been placed on him.
The investigation is ongoing.
