HENRY COUNTY, Ga. - Police believe the shooting that left three people dead, including a child, was likely a murder suicide.
The victims have been identified as James Bryant, 37, Melissa Bryant, 39, and 6-year-old Conner Patrick.
According to police, their bodies were discovered Monday at a home in the 3300 block of Bill Gardner Road in Locust Grove during a welfare check. Investigators said police were called after the homeowner didn't show up to work.
Tuesday, investigators said the preliminary investigation has revealed that James Bryant was most likely the shooter. The shooting took place after some type of domestic fight Sunday night around 9 p.m., according to police.
Investigators said they are still trying to piece together exactly what happened at the home.
