Police Boost Reward to Solve Cold Case Murder Before Anniversary

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Authorities are offering a $50,000 to help solve a cold case.

Vanessa “Honey” Malone was murdered in DeKalb County in 2012. Since then, investigators have been trying to get the break they need to put away those responsible.

Malone was shot during a home invasion and armed robbery at an apartment complex on Tree Mountain Parkway.

Investigators think the crime involved as many as six people, but they haven't been able to find any of them.

The reward is only offered until October 23rd, the anniversary of Malone's murder.
