People are praising God after a driver was pulled from a burning car just moments before it burst into flames and according to authorities, only a bible was recovered from the scene.

The accident took place in Memphis, Tennessee over the weekend on Interstate 385. Witnesses told WMC Action News 5 a car was hit by another vehicle that kept going before crashing into a pole.

“I said, ‘This car is going to blow. Lord, please let me get this man out,’” witness Elicia Bridgforth, told WMC Action News 5.

Witnesses said Good Samaritans and a K-9 officer were able to rescue the driver, who was pinned against the steering wheel, before the vehicle exploded. He was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

Anita Irby recorded the rescue and shared the footage online.

“I just saw God on 385,” Irby said.

Investigators said they were able to recover only one item from the scene of the wreck: a Bible.
"That is God,” Eugene McNeil told WMC Actions News 5. “If you don’t believe it, I don’t know what to say."
