One person shot and killed in Newton County
NEWTON COUNTY, Ga. - A man was shot and killed in Covington, Georgia on Saturday afternoon, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Office.
The incident happened at 20 Russell Drive. Newton County Sheriff's Office spokesperson, Sgt. Morrison tells FOX 5 News that the two people potentially involved in the shooting are both in custody.
Police have identified the victim as 27-year-old Daniel Lopez Antonio, who lived a the address.
The death has been ruled a homicide.
