COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - Attorneys for a Coweta County man accused of raping a 12-year-old girl entered a plea of Not Guilty to his charges in court Monday morning.
Shalin Payne, whose face is entirely covered in tattoos, faces a long list of charges including rape and assault. Payne was not in the courtroom to enter the plea himself.
Police video captured Payne leaving the scene of the crime half-dressed after the girl’s mother call 911.
Payne is scheduled to appear in court next month.
