New Video Released in Walgreens Robbery, Carjacking

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - FOX 5 Atlanta has obtained surveillance from a violent armed robbery and carjacking at a DeKalb County Walgreens.

In the video, the man seemed nervous and even agitated just before he opened fire inside the Walgreens on Wednesday.

The video shows the man lingering around the counter of the store located on Covington Highway. He appeared to be waiting until a customer left before he made his move. Then when the oblivious cashier walks off, he gets frustrated. The man hits the computer screen and fires a shot towards the ceiling.

Police say the man then goes to the parking lot and carjacks a woman. No one was hurt.
