Mysterious Man Enters DeKalb Pediatric Center

DECATUR, Ga. - It's a place where the patients are all children. But recently a stranger entered DeKalb Pediatric Center in Decatur.

The doctor who operates DeKalb Pediatric Center said a man was recorded on their surveillance system on October 13th. Dr. Jane Wilcov said he entered through the exit during lunchtime.

She said he wandered to some backrooms which are off limits to the public and also peered into several patient rooms. She said it does not appear that he stole anything because her husband chased him away. Fortunately, no children were present.

Police said it appears he got away on foot and left on public transit. The doctor told FOX 5 News the man made everyone at the center feel violated. She said she's not sure of his motive.

She also said about two years ago it appears the same man entered the practice with no incident. Dunwoody Police have also linked the man to the theft of cash from a basement lock box at a yoga studio.

Dunwoody Police and DeKalb County Police are both working the case and urge anyone with information on the mysterious man to contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS.
