Murder suspects arrested in DeKalb County

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit has arrested two men in connection with the April shooting death of Nicholas Crammer on Kaybrook Road in Decatur.

The warrants were issued on May 10, 2016 for the arrests of Ira Troy Williams and Rahil Jones.  Both are charged with felony murder and attempt to commit armed robbery. The warrants allege that both Mr. Williams and Mr. Jones shot Mr. Crammer, causing his death.

On May 17, 2016, sheriff’s deputies apprehended Mr. Jones in Decatur and Mr. Williams in Covington.  Both were transported to the DeKalb County Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division without incident. 

They are currently in custody at the DeKalb County Jail.
