Memorial for murdered Marines grows

Hundreds of mourners and well-wishers gathered Friday evening at the Olivet Baptist Church in Chattanooga.

On their minds were the four marines killed in Thursday's tragic shootings. Elected leaders and faith leaders from several religions were all in attendance at the service. At times, the service was sorrowful and mournful, and at other moments, it was joyful and full of praise.

Many of those who attended the event said it was just what they needed to begin the healing process.

Chattanooga Police said thousands of people have visited the makeshift memorial site outside the shooting scene.
