The manhunt continued Thursday for a man wanted in connection to the death of his roommate inside their Gwinnett County apartment Friday night.

Heraclios Solis-Ortiz, 56, has warrants for felony murder and aggravated assault outstanding for him. Gwinnett County Police said Solis-Ortiz killed one of his roommates, 52-year-old Geremias Barrios Diaz, at the apartment they shared at the Villas Del Camino Apartments in the 1300 block of Graves Road in Norcross.

Neighbors told FOX 5 News that they heard noises that they thought were construction-related coming from inside the apartment. Officials said there were no signs of forced entry and all of Solis-Ortiz's belongings were gone from the apartment. A third roommate told investigators Solis-Ortiz "may have been having an ongoing dispute" with Diaz.

Police said he has been on the run ever since. Investigators believe he does not have a car, so he is likely still in the Norcross area.

Police described him as a Hispanic male with a height of around 5-feet-7-inches and a muscular build. He has black hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information involving the case is asked to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300.
