19-year-old Dexter Da'ron Hubbard is accused of killing 58-year-old Soloman Williams Monday afternoon at his Gossamer Street Home, according to police.

Williams was changing the front door lock Monday afternoon when things took a tragic turn.

"I was helping my girls with their homework when I heard him scream, so I immediately ran over to him," Williams' wife Louisa said.

Williams' two youngest daughters had just gotten home from their first day at school.

"I saw someone trying to come in our home and my husband was on his knees trying with everything he could to keep that person out," Louisa said. "He was trying to save us."

That's when the family says a shot was fired through the front door. The bullet hit Williams.

"He came crashing down in the hallway," Louisa said. "He was dying in the arms of my two girls."

The family told FOX 5, they don't know why someone would want to kill Williams.

"He didn't hurt anybody," Louisa said. "He was the love of my life. Whoever you are you took a husband, a father, my forever love...did you sleep good last night knowing that?"

Earlier this week, Fulton County Police released surveillance video of a man walking in the neighborhood around the time of the murder. Investigators believe the man seen in the video is Hubbard.

Anyone with information about this ongoing investigation is asked to contact the Fulton County Police Department at 404-613-6600.
