High school fight ends in arrests

Six West Hall High School girls were charged with starting a fight on Tuesday, Officials say.

During the fight, one of the girls hit a deputy in the face and another struck a school official in the chest.

The student who hit the deputy faces the additional charge of felony obstruction. Officials say the student who hit the school officials faces the additional charge of simple battery.

All students were released to the custody of their parents with a complaint pending in juvenile court
