Health officials: DeKalb County woman dies from West Nile

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - The DeKalb County Board of Health confirms its first death from West Nile Virus this year.

The victim was a woman from Dunwoody in her 90s.

Her death comes about a month after we learned a Dunwoody man in his 20s contracted the virus. He is recovering.

The DeKalb County Board of Health has launched a door-to-door campaign to help educate the public about how to combat the mosquito problem.
