Gwinnett police help kids prepare for school
Police with the The Fraternal Order of Police helped children in need get ready for school by hosting a Back to School event Saturday morning at the Shoe Carnival on Suwanee Road in Lawrenceville.
Children enjoyed food, received book bags, school supplies, and were allowed to pick out a pair of shoes to start the new school year with.
The Fraternal Order of Police’s goal this year was to provide supplies for 140 kids .
