Group announces projects to raise awareness about human trafficking

MARIETTA, Ga. - A Marietta-based non-profit announces a plan to raise awareness about human trafficking.

Thursday morning, the Safe America Foundation announced several new initiatives aimed at trafficking.

In particular, the group said they want to raise awareness about the issue ahead of next year's Super Bowl which experts said could bring an increase in trafficking across metro Atlanta.

The group also announced plans to encourage discussions around changes to the school year that would ensure kids don't have to walk to their bus stops in the dark.
