One football fan is getting a lot of heat over a critique video he posted over the weekend.

"Crazy Uncle Lou" uploaded a video to YouTube Saturday titled "Fire Mark Richt Rant." The University of Georgia football fan called the Bulldogs' loss to Florida "embarrassing."

"You know what Mark Richt dressed up like for Halloween? A head coach," he exclaimed in the video.

"Lou" said Monday he has gotten a lot of criticism for his stance that Head Coach Mark Richt should be fired--from people saying "Lou" is not a true Georgia fan to death threats.

"If someone supports Richt, they're no more or less of a fan than I am for wanting to go in a different direction," he said. "Lots of people don't support Barack Obama as President of the United States.  [That] doesn't mean they don't support America."

Fans in Athens, however, seem more reluctant to call for Richt's firing.

"I've seen a lot of these, like, petitions get rid of Mark Richt or whatever and to me it seems kind of a little absurd," said Christian Riesinger, a senior at UGA.

"Lou," however, said while removing Richt comes with risk, that is a risk he is willing to take.

"I just think it's time to go in a different direction," said Lou.  "I know you know, Mark Richt is a nice guy. He's a good, Christian man--all of those things--and I think that's great.  But I don't think you have to be one or the other."

So far, the "Fire Mark Richt" video has gotten more than 50,000 views.
