GBI employees resign over photo
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Two Georgia Bureau of Investigation employees are in trouble after one of them posed for a picture with a victims' dismembered head.
The GBI confirms both employees worked for their medical examiner's office.
FOX 5 News received the following statement from the bureau which reads:
“On Friday, November 30, 2018, the GBI was notified of an inappropriate photo that was taken by a GBI Medical Examiner's Office employee. An internal investigation was immediately initiated. As a result, one employee resigned in lieu of termination effective December 18th and a second employee will resign in lieu of termination effective Friday, December 21st.”
