Frigid Start To The Work Week

ATLANTA - Get ready for one of the coldest weeks so far this winter.

Temperatures early Monday morning will rival any that we have seen so far with overnight lows dropping into the teens and 20s, and the wind chill factors in the teens to around 10!

On top of that temperatures will struggle to reach the low to mid 40s during the afternoon. At least the sun will be shining bright, but unfortunately it won't be much help.

Temperatures will continue to be well below normal until Thursday when some milder air returns to the Southeast. The extended forecast is not so clear cut now that a few computer models want to bring rain back into the Southeast as early as Saturday. This scenario will more than likely change over the next few days.
