Former Grady nurse celebrates 101st birthday

UNION CITY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A nursing home threw a huge birthday party for a former Grady Memorial Hospital nurse Wednesday.

The Christian City Nursing Home celebrated the life of Artelia Burks Horne.

Horne turned 101-years-old on July 9.

She spoke to FOX 5 News about how she's managed to live so long.

The former nurse told attendees stories of her childhood and her husband.
