Firefighters extinguish house fire on Metropolitan Parkway

ATLANTA - Atlanta Fire Rescue said Wednesday parts of Metropolitan Parkway and Rockwell Street were blocked in both directions as authorities responded to a house fire near the intersection.
Officials reported no injuries and said the fire was out at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Officials said the Atlanta Police Department responded to the scene for traffic control.
