Clayton Co. Police Search for Arson Suspect

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Investigators in Clayton County continue to search for a suspect in a weekend fire that put dozens of lives in danger.  According to witnesses, a man who was kicked out of a party at the Lake of Woods apartment complex on Saturday, came back and set fire to an apartment building.

Before residents knew what was happening, the only exit route for many - the stairs - was destroyed.  A pregnant woman and children were forced to jump into the arms of strangers standing nearby. 

"At first they were scared. They didn't want to jump, but then they did into the guys' arms below, " said one witness.

Luckily, there were no serious injuries.
