Clayton Co. Fugitive Squad nabs murder suspect

Ronney Jackson

The Clayton County Fugitive Squad captured wanted murder suspect Ronney Jackson early Sunday morning.

According to the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, Jackson was involved in a dispute with Carlos Wallace Nov. 25, 2015. Sheriffs said Jackson fired shots into Wallace's vehicle striking him in the abdomen.

As a result of Wallace’s gunshot wound, he had two legs and an arm amputated, was placed in an induced coma but later died of his injuries.

Clayton County’s Fugitive Squad surrounded a house and took Jackson into custody.

Jackson is being transported to Georgia's toughest para-military jail where he will await trial for this crime.
