Carjackers target drivers filling up at the pump

ATLANTA - A security video shows how quickly a car theft can happen.

A woman stops for gas. It is Saturday afternoon on a very corner in Buckhead. While she is pumping her gas, another car pulls alongside and the driver steps out and slides into her car from the passenger side.

The video shows the thief had quickly locked the doors and is able to drive away because the gas station customer left her key inside the car.

The entire crime, including the drive out, took just 30 seconds.
