California teen graduates with 9 college degrees
STOCKTON, Calif. - A California teen is redefining what it means to be a stellar student.
D’Angelo Martinez, a senior at Middle College High School, is graduating from San Joaquin Delta College with his ninth degree—one day before he graduates from high school.
Martinez says his family thought it was crazy, but he says he doesn’t have any regrets and has gotten alot out of the experience.
"I don't regret anything at all, I felt the knowledge I learned from this and the classes I took were more important than anything else I could have done,” he said.
In addition to his degrees in Spanish, math and science, Martinez says his degrees in business and retail management challenged him the most.
Now, Martinez is pursing other goals, including becoming the first in his family to graduate from a four-year university and becoming a physician.
