2 injured in a shooting in Richmond County
AUGUSTA, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Richmond County deputies are investigating after at least two people were injured in a shooting Wednesday afternoon.
According to FOX 54 Augusta, it happened at the Dogwood Terrace Apartments near downtown Augusta.
Deputies said they found one person with a leg wound, and a child with a head injury, possibly from shattered glass from a gunshot.
Medics rushed both victims to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.
