Study: overly polite people more likely to betray you

Beware of that friendly person giving you lots of compliments. According to a new study, excessively polite people are more likely to betray you.

The findings were presented to the "Association For Computational Linguistics." 

Researchers said you should be suspicious of anyone who goes overboard in trying to compliment you, especially if you don't think that compliment rings true. 

However, experts caution people to not give up on kindness all together... just keep an eye on your back!
