Photographer Pushes to Get More Women in Front of the Camera

Flip through a family album and you'll find plenty of photos of children, but often very few of mom.

Women can be very critical of themselves in pictures, but local photographer Nina Parker is part of a new trend to change that. It's a push to get more women in front of the camera, for themselves and their families.

Sadly Parker's business grew out of tragedy as close friends and associates died, some unexpectedly, and the family didn't have quality pictures to show at the memorial.

Parker said these couture pictures celebrate and showcase a woman's beauty right where she is, no matter her age, weight or whatever she ‘thinks’ needs fixing.
